OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dan Moran
Transitional Pastor

After 11 years as a successful marketing associate, Dan followed God’s calling, entering into full-time ministry as the founder and director of Dan Moran Ministries, Inc. Since 1985, Dan’s focus has progressed into three unique avenues of ministry: Strategic Missions, Transitional Pastor, and Chaplain Services. Through these diverse avenues of ministry, Dan seeks to fulfill his passion of leading the next generation to meet Christ.

Dan has been the featured speaker for conventions, conferences, and church-renewal events across America and around the globe. His messages—with humor woven throughout—are centered on strong, relevant biblical teaching. “If I can get them to laugh, they will usually listen to the Truth,” says Dan. “The humor in the message changes no one; only Biblical Truth will change lives.”

In 2005, he began to transition from being an itinerant speaker to focus on his new passion as a Transitional Pastor. Certified by the Center for Congregational Health as an Intentional Interim and Certified as a Transitional Pastor from the Southern Baptist Convention, Dan has served as a Transitional Pastor at eleven churches in Alabama and Georgia. “I truly believe working with churches during transition could be our greatest area of work thus far, and prayerfully will be a large part of the legacy of our calling.”

Dan and Debbie have been married for almost 40 years, and they have one son, Seth, and in October of 2016 a new daughter-in-love, Taylor joined our family.

Kris Anderson
Pastor of Youth and Outreach
Kris and his awesome wife Nicole have been married since 2009 and have five energetic children: Josiah, Jacob, Makayla, Micah and Hannah.  After becoming a Christian during his college years, God gave him a passion to see young people know and follow Jesus. He enjoys family time, dancing and singing with his kids, coffee, reading and is a homer for the hometown teams… Go Braves! Go Falcons!
Joshua Vandgrift
Pastor of Worship
Joshua was born and raised in the small town of Lewisport, Kentucky. Being the youngest son of a Southern Baptist Minister, Joshua grew up in and around ministry and came to know Christ and His Gospel at a very early age. After graduating high school, he attended Middle Tennessee State University and then Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with plans to become a professional pilot. However, God had other plans, and he was later called to ministry while helping co-plant a church aimed at helping bring the gospel to one of the largest unreached people groups in the world.  Joshua has been married to his wife, Lori, since 2006, and God has blessed them with three beautiful children: Keegan, Kinsley and Camille. He has a passion for music and for leading others to know and Worship our Creator in everything we do. He also loves drinking good coffee and riding motorcycles, but usually not at the same time.
Erika Bowman
Children’s Director

Erika Bowman grew up at Lilburn First Baptist, but she has never been more excited than she is now about what God is doing here! Erika loves carbs, musicals, and punny graphic t-shirts.  When she’s not at church, you can find her at Chick-fil-A drinking an unsweet tea or at the zoo spouting off interesting facts about animals. Erika is passionate about helping kids realize that they are completely known and deeply loved by God and that they can do His work now.

Susan Rumble
Member Care/ Senior Adult Administrator

While growing up on a small dairy farm, Susan developed a strong love and awe of God’s wonderful creation. She and her husband, John, have been married since 1971. They have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. The passion of Susan’s heart is to reflect the love of Jesus, our Saving Shepherd, in her daily life.
